Here are some real-life projects I've worked on recently - please have a nosey.
And get in touch with any questions.
I'm a regular contributor to Skyscanner's travel blog, writing sponsored articles for tourist boards, airlines, travel brands and travel services.
My favourite destinations are anywhere in the Middle East, Italy, Croatia and Wales (obvs). But I love discovering new places, even if it's just through research.
When Sleeperz Hotels rebranded as Four Points Flex by Sheraton, existing content needed to be rewritten to fit the new brand's website structure and tone of voice.
I adapted the hotel, room and restaurant descriptions of four properties to fit the new style: Cardiff, Edinburgh, Dundee and Newcastle.
This resort town on the Red Sea needed a copy refresh. The huge project included pages for 18 hotels and dozens of themed ‘things to do.’ All to be rewritten in a new tone of voice to fit a new website template.
The scale of this assignment demanded meticulous project management, working on several pieces simultaneously, and communicating with multiple stakeholders.
Skyscanner wanted to raise awareness of the different tech careers available and the journeys that had led team members to join the company.
I interviewed 14 people and wrote up their unique stories, highlighting the diverse roles available and some interesting, non-conventional career paths.
Logistics-tech start-up Zeus needed help explaining the benefits of their AI-powered supply chain software.
It's a complex and multi-layered product, so the key was simplicity. I took technical descriptions and wrote succinct, easy-to-understand copy that had Zeus' target audience in mind.
HLT develops software solutions for the air cargo industry, and its Learning Management System (LMS) was an industry-first. To raise awareness, I was tasked with creating a series of compelling award entries to showcase the success of the LMS in its first 12 months.
Through creative storytelling, backed by real-life examples and statistics, HLT’s LMS landed the Digital Innovation trophy at the 2024 Air Cargo News Awards.
Workstyle Revolution had outgrown its brand positioning and tone of voice. The once-upstart needed to be taken seriously by corporate organisations, but didn't want to lose its unique personality.
I revised Workstyle's vision and mission, refined its grown-up personality traits, and developed an updated tone of voice that reflected its practical and optimistic approach to changing the way we work. (Link coming soon)
Home4U wanted to shake up its website and appeal to funders, but the charity wasn't sure where to start. Cue a website audit and several recommendations, which I put into action in a rewrite.
These included renaming and restructuring the menu, as well as rewriting content to answer questions from potential funders. (Link coming soon)
I write for travel brands, tech brands, B2B brands and not-for-profit organisations that do good things.
If you're after more examples of my work, please get in touch. I have thought leadership articles, newsletters, press releases, case studies, and ghostwritten articles to share. Or hop over to my blog for my personal stories.
